Mike Trout, is this enough?

Postby kb8fan21 » Thu May 02, 2013 9:37 am

What do you guys think of this deal, fair offer on my part?

I give Jacoby Ellsbury, Buster Posey, Roy Halladay

I get Mike Trout and Zack Greinke

Other team has Salvador Perez at C and could use an extra healthy SP, thanks!

This is a tough one. Elsburry is a stud, and im guessing you paid premium for Posey (who is going to do better then he has been this year)
Halladay is having an up and down season but he is Roy Halladay and has a lot of upside if he can even get back to 80% of what he was in 2010-2011. I dont know Greinkes status but he is a stud that will give you a good number of SOs

I would say go for it while trout is even available since he is a top 5 fantasy option in the game.

Is Posey going to improve that much? I'm not a believer. I pass on that deal and Keep Trout.

Who would be your catcher if you did this deal?
I think you have to do that you get rid of Halladay and get back a top 5 player and a SP upgrade. If you have a Napoli, Arrencibia, Rosario type at catcher this was a huge win for you.

Mike Trout and Zack Greinke CASH IT MONEY IN THE BANK.

I think you definitely do that trade. Get rid of Halladay as fast as possible, and with the Catchers you can pick up off the waiver wire you can almost replace Posey.

help?

Wow Arencibia needs to be owned for god's sake. Why is a top 10 catcher in FA?
Even bigger win as I said. Ruiz is no slouch and McCann certainly has 275/25/80 potential when he gets back.

Absolutely make the deal. If he's offering Trout, jump on it. No question.
