Oh Mat Latos, what to do with you. Historically sucky at Busch Stadium and the Cards in general but had a good start against them a couple weeks ago. I want to throw him out there but damm does that 10.23 ERA at Busch Stadium scare. And if you're wondering, yes I did start him against at Busch in the first matchup, but it was on accident.
Got Scherzer going against the Twins Got Jeff Smadrkgaijdiha going against the Pads Undecided still on Daniel Straily against the Angels
Tune into ESPN at 7pm ET for a good one between the Braves/Nationals. Strasburg vs. Teheran
Struggling over whether or not I want to throw Jose Fernandez against the Mets today. I'm starting Harvey, who is facing Fernandez. Fernandez has been eh his last two outings after being very impressive in his first two outings. Mets are 11th in the MLB with a .719 OPS vs RHP. Fernandez looked good against the Mets in his debut, but he still didn't get through more than 5 innings, and having him face them a second time worries me.
*edit - I won't mind if Cain gets shellacked a couple of times.
He just might. I thought about buying low on Cain until I saw how his velocity has been trending downward every year. Don't know if its mechanics, not saying he is hiding an injury or TJ is nearing, but guys in this situation crossover a hittable thresh hold and it gets uglier before it gets prettier. Take a look for yourself.
