Strategy Question - 4 player league

Postby covington » Wed Apr 24, 2013 2:01 pm

What is the best strategy for a 4 player league with the ability to make daily roster changes? Is it better to find the long term players that you hope will carry you through? Or is it better to make daily changes to find the best players that day (without giving up your heavy-hitters)? Is it then better from a pitching standpoint to try to get more pitchers pitching on a given day so that you increase your strikeouts, wins, and saves (possibly sacrificing ERA and/or whip?

In this league, the best player is the most active trader, probably averaging 4-5 trades per day.. but she knew how scoring worked a couple weeks in advance of the rest of us, so grabbed the best players in each category to vault to the top in 6 out of the 10 categories (so far). Will she lose out at the end with all the trading or be better off for it?

yeah, you can say I am confused :)
