Drop Rendon for Corbin, Teheran or Colon? WHIR ALWAYS

Postby ATLbraves » Tue Apr 23, 2013 11:24 pm

Should I drop Anthony Rendon for Patrick Corbin, Julio Teheran or Bartolo Colon?

Pitching cats:
IP W L SV BB K ERA WHIP

I could use some extra pitching depth with both Cueto and Greinke on my DL, but I feel like Rendon's stats so far are deceiving because he has had really good at bats. Rendon could likely be heading right back to the minors though when Zimmerman returns.

I think I would go with Corbin...Something about him I really like...Julio would not be a bad add either with ATL scoring all those runs...I think you scratch Colon off your list for sure.

PC over JT

Well then, I think Marcum gets a slight bump...I do think though no matter which way you go, Colon is the only one I would not pick. Marcum has a history of injury whereas Corbin and Julio are still pretty young...not much of a track record to go by for MLB purposes.

I would prefer to take a shot with Marcum over any of the other players listed. Teheran would be my second choice.

Help with mine? http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=459263

I like Corbin. I think he is a good fit for ur situation

And then like the others I read marcum is available. I think marcum is a good end of rotation depth guy to have at SP. should be a good pick up. Nothing special about him, but doesn't kill ur stats for the most part. NYM have played decent so far as well

Mind helping with mine? No responses yet, "saves for holds" might seem like a dumb question, but I'd appreciate it

I'm torn between Corbin and Marcum. Marcum is likely the better pitcher but who knows how he will be back in the majors after being out for a while and how long he will stay healthy after that. Corbin is a talented lefty, who isn't coming out of nowhere, and I think I would give him the slight edge.
