I need power WHIR

Postby goose in my step » Tue Apr 23, 2013 7:33 pm

i need some more hrs. my team is seriously lacking power. i have pretty good depth at pitching. the team i want to trade with has good power but lacks pitching. who should i target and what can i offer? im willing to part ways with cain, if i can get back someone like hamilton in return. I would prefer a 2 for 1 trade as i have players coming back from dl and want to free up a roster spot for them.
something like cain and gomez for hamilton maybe. heck ill even throw in one of RPs since anyone of my closer would be an upgrade for him

this is my team.

I'd go after Hamilton or Davis from his team. Cain and a bat should get it done but I am not sure he really needs the pitching and Gomez is nothing special. But I would try that offer and see if he bites. The worst thing that will happen is he declines with no counter. But hopefully he will counter and they you have started trade talks.

Thanks for your help with mine

Hisashi Iwakuma for Ian Desmond (sell high buy low add 20-25 homers to your team in a position of need).

I really like this idea, and throw in a closer if you need to.

Agreed, you'll probably have to add in a closer if you want Desmond, but you can afford it. Offer just Iwakuma to start, then adjust if he doesn't accept.
