Simply A. Ramirez for J. Peavy?

Postby sn267537 » Mon Apr 22, 2013 4:38 pm

10 team
Roto
Standard 5x5
Yahoo
2nd year keeper : 10 keepers

Simply:

I give: J. Peavy(Chi-SP)
I get A. Ramirez(Mil-3B)

I am thinking of adding my gyorko into the deal since he doesn't seem to respond when I say I'll trade u peavy, not my other top 3 SP. But I will start with 1 for 1. He is in desperate need of SP. I can spare a starter, IMO

My SP:
M. Cain
J. Zimmerman
M. Harvey
J. Peavy
J. Niese
A. Pettitte
W. Miley

I am looking to gain a solid bat. 3B is a good fit for my team I feel. (K. Seager is my stater. And I am perfectly fine with that, however, A. Ramirez will help with my teams batting average overall out of the Utl spot)

Note: I am not updated on his injury like I should be, although, to my knowledge I believe he is close to coming off the DL?

You have the SP depth..... Sure. YOu could maybe squeeze another out of him.

Another player? Wow that'd be nice, but if I do a 2 for 1 I'd have to drop and I don't really have a droppable player at the moment. Plus I'd rather own gyorko than anything I'd get from him that's extra.

But that's good feedback to hear I could get more, meaning, this should be a good 1 for 1 offering for him. I hope he sees it this way.

Others agree J. Peavy for A. Ramirez a good move to gain a solid batting average bat? Plus his injury I need to look up on his progress/return

Ramirez, Aramis (3B) 04/20
15-day DL Possibly late April or early May
Left knee sprain
Took soft toss and hit off tee April 19.

Seems ok?
