Doug Fister for Mark Texiera... WHIR 100%

Postby etl1692 » Mon Apr 22, 2013 4:02 pm

I think This is a little ridiculous, but always like to see what the community thinks.....

I give: Doug Fister
I get: Mark Texiera (He has "not been progressing rapidly, and MAy 1st is not a realistic return date)

With that being said I almost know the answer NO to this trade, but this kid is hurting for Pitching, and I could MAYBE find room to deal Fister. See any deal worth making? His team is on the Right side..

I don't see a reason for you to make this trade. Corey Hart can provide the same amount of pop Mark Texiera would. They both won't hit for a good average Texiera might get a bit more in RBI production but I don't see a reason to make this trade.

I also am not sure of this move. I think ur SP is deep, but still needs what fister can offer when he's healthy

I agree guys thanks. It feels like a forced trade, and I like Fister.

This kid has a lot of DL players, so he is easily trying to flip one. He actually is 3-0 and 1st in our league right now. No idea how.

Either way. No trade here is what I'm thinking...

Now do I hop on this MAchado guy and drop C. Johnson or what? More upside on MAchado, and I'm a keeper league (doubt I'd keep him over, trout, kemp, or Votto. LOL but who knows.)

Grab: MAchado
Drop: C. Johnson

Either player will probably sit bench.........

Yeah. I mean it's not like it's a major trade or anything but like u say it feels forced and just doesn't feel like it fits to me as well

Ummm C. Johnson 3B ATL? He is hot starting the season. Idk details of playing time, full time starter? But longer term, the name machado seems logical. I am not offering much more than that because that's about all I can imput lol. I'm sure others will have more details of the two to decide.
