Trainer Stan Conte said Robb Nen could be out until May after developing tendinitis in his surgically repaired right shoulder late in spring training.
Nen threw off flat ground Monday for the first time in nearly a week. "We're not starting over," Conte said. "We took a half-step back, but we're moving forward. This time it should move a little quicker." Nen said he was discouraged by the setback but was confident he'd pitch again in a few weeks. Until then, Matt Herges owners have to be thrilled with his performance in his first save opportunity last night.

I heard he was in alot of pain due to this setback. I don't think he is going to come back this year.

Its the type of confusing logic that so many use to make people think they're saying something when they're not really saying anything at all.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

I just read that too, I dropped him for Herges. Only Schmidt and Nomar left on my DL....back to spring cleaning!

I am a huge Florida Gator football fan and our new head coach, Ron Zook sounds a lot like this quote above....
"We have a long way to go, but we're close"
or
"We throw the ball long, just not deep"
????????????????????????????????????????????????

I have Herges in both of my Roto leagues - Nen can keep taking half steps back all season and I'd be happy
