I haven't seen a timetable set on Kinsler's return. I know he had a setback last week and have not seen any news since.

Sounds like that is under discussion.

With the way Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar has played since his recall from the minors, general manager Jon Daniels said the team is considering keeping the top prospect on the roster once Ian Kinsler comes off the disabled list, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
"We’re in the business of winning games," Daniels said Monday morning. "You usually have a better chance of winning games when you have your best players on the team. If he demonstrates that he deserves to be in that mix, it’s something we’ll talk about.

"If it's going to be once a week, you don’t want him sitting around doing that. Something we’re going to talk about is whether there’s an opportunity to get him in the mix and get some guys off their feet."

Yes I read the same thing. But hes NOT going to play everyday. And that's what the reply was.

they are apparently talking in Texas as to what to do when Kinsler returns, trying to see if they can keep Profar on the roster.
if Cruz does end up getting suspended, problem solved.

I would think at the moment it's unsure how long Rendon could be in Washington. if Espinosa can get healthy, Rendon could find himself back in the minors.

You are picking apart what I said. I think he is more likely than Rendon to be in the lineup on a daily basis. Is that better?

And the last Kinsler update doesn't make it sound like he will be back any day now. The initial 3-6 week timetable would have him back somewhere between the 10th and July 1st.

Anthony Rendon?

I don't think Rendon is really all that exciting, for the near future anyways. I don't really see him is better than Jedd gyorko in any fantasy category except RBI, and gyorko is a marginal fantasy 2b at best.

I disagree on Gyorko. I think Gyorko could do this season what Kyle Seager did last season.

as for Rendon, it's hard to say. he has had trouble staying healthy in the minors, so there isn't a whole lot of numbers to look at. it's also unknown how long he will be in Washington. but I think the potential is there to be really good.

he should gain 2B eligibility today. it's not there yet, but I imagine yahoo is just slow and it will be there sometime today.
