Opportunity to go after Kershaw or King Felix *WHIR*

Postby illinifan15 » Fri Apr 19, 2013 11:31 pm

Dynasty Keeper Roto 5x5 league. 40 players - 25 keepers

An owner just let me know that King Felix and Kershaw are available by trade. His team is terrible and underperforming, so he is looking for some young pieces to rebuild his team with.

My question: Do I go after either of these guys or sit tight where I'm at? And if I do, who do I offer?

If I could get Kershaw for the right price, I would be all over that. IMO, the best SP in fantasy and a stud for years to come. I have him in all 3 of my keeper leagues having worked out deals to get him over the years. (Kevin Gregg for Kershaw in his rookie year...hahahahaha). Sabathia and Berkman for him in another a few years ago. Cueto and Headley in another this year.

It all comes down tot he price you have to pay.

Could you give up a Marte/Miley package for him or is that way low? Marte should carry a lot of weight in a keeper right now.

Try Laroche Markakis and Buchholz.

I honestly think you'd have to move Adam Jones to get a Kershaw deal done.

If I owned Kershaw and wanted to rebuild.... Why trade him? He's young.

So Kershaw is a no go. King Felix should be available, but I would only accept some major league-ready talent and LOTS of them.

Good luck.

I think you can definitely get Kershaw, but would have to include Jones...I think something like Jones and Buchholz for Kershaw and a decent add in would be feasible.

If you have a moment...viewtopic.php?t=459017
