Anyone sell him yet?

Here's a good article advocating to buy high on him http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/buy-hi ... ing-marte/

He was actually just dropped in my 12 teamer. I'll be keeping a close eye on him, that is for sure.

I traded Marte and Cingrani for Hamels..I made a trade beforehand that weakened my pitching and I had too many good outfielders, so I decided to sell both Marte and Cingrani high for a stud proven pitcher. My thinking was I just got a 3rd round pitcher for two players I picked up in free agency, and Cingrani's future is uncertain. I might regret giving up Marte but really he was projected to be around a .260/12 homer/30 sb guy so I figured he just had a really hot april possibly.

I'm sure some will pan this but this is exactly how you sell high. You locked in proven value for two heavily unknown players who really could do almost anything from this point on. Sure you could lose this trade but that isn't really the point of selling high, the point is to lock in your equity.

In my H2H league which is not a heavy trade league we just had a Pujols for Price trade. Kind of surprised considering Price has had such a mediocre start as well. The guy trading away Price is the one that generally does better than the other guy in the league as well. If you are a Pujols believer I'd say this is a good time to strike.

I'm getting really impatient waiting for a patented Jay Bruce hot streak. One HR so far is really not cutting it,

just traded Pujols and Pagan for Verlander and Carlos Gomez.
Ive got Trumbo, Moss and eventually LaRoche (now that April is over) to man 1B.

I think that's a fantastic trade, especially with Trumbo in tow.
