What are people's thoughts on Brandon Morrow? Not expecting the line he put up last year, but he's not this bad is he?

Yes. He is. Always has been. Regardless of what his xFIP, etc. have always predicted for him, he's been a mid-4 ERA guy for almost his entire duration as a starter. His walk rate is in line with career norms. The only glaring thing is his decreased K/9, which probably has some to do with how many men he's putting on base and thus, facing. His strand rate is low, but he just sorta sucks regardless. He's a guy I'll never own again.

I sold Chris Davis & Alejandro De Aza and bought Matt Cain & Mike Minor.

I like it for me and definitely feel I won on both players. I got Davis' best month IMO, and am acquiring a stud ace in Cain who has just been unlucky thus far. Plus Minor is just icing on the cake! De Aza was a bench guy for me.

I'm riding Chris Davis all year in my league but of course, I had Eric Hosmer as my primary 1B for like 2 days. :-o

I don't consider Davis a sell high

K, I've been saying this awhile but that picture Davis really does look like a beefier Dennis Quaid.

I do when I'm getting Matt Cain in return. If Davis goes off and hits 45 home runs and drives in 120 then I'll gladly eat crow. I got his best month out of him and hopefully I'll have Cain now with his worst month behind him. Plus I have a nice platoon now at 1B with Morneau/Garret Jones or Matt Carpenter.

I'll agree that it's all about who you get in return, but in a general sense, I think Davis has finally arrived.

Where is everyone at on Starling Marte right now? After tonight he'll probably be ranked top 15 at least. I feel like he will end up around .275 ish with how much he K's, and he is way up around .340 right now, with 3HR and 10SB. Pretty nice line for the trading block. Who would you look for in return in a keeper league?

If he is going to steal like 30+ bases I think you just hold him, so if you believe in the speed just keep him. He is sort of an Aoki/Pagan etc type with maybe more HR potential than those guys and a little less AVG potential.

I can see like 12/35 out of him it is just where the average bottoms out is where I'm worried. My guess is he posts an Austin Jackson-lite BABIP and finishes around .280. Am I too high on him to expect a .280/12HR/35 SB/90R line? Doubt I'll get more than that in trade.

What's up fellas?....Is David Price a good buy low guy?

Guy is offering me Price/Prado for Kinsler....Obviously those 2 are not playing up to their norm while Kinsler is on fire. Would you pull the trigger or stick with what is working for you?

I'm in 3rd place in a 10 player roto league. My offense has been carrying me, I could def use some help in the SP department. Think Price/Prado turn it around?
