This is my first time watching Jose Fernandez pitch. I'm impressed.


At least it was a nice start. The 4th inning was not so kind but this wasn't unexpected. He will have these kinds of outings since he basically skipped AA/AAA ball. At least he was benched on my team due to 2 start pitchers that are no longer 2 start pitchers (rainouts).

Of course votto chose not to participate again today other than a late hit and a pair of walks.
