My Team...Got Questions WHIR

Postby jesperSe7en » Wed Apr 17, 2013 1:01 pm

Listed below is my team after the first two weeks of the season. I have made some pretty good trades IMO and am setting up well.

As you can see, I have a very, very stacked outfield. I recently got Stanton in a trade because the owner was about sick of him and I got him for a lot less than what he should be going for. I know I do not need him but I plan to sell him high the first few games he comes out hitting bombs, because I know his value will be through the roof. What do you guys think?

As of now, I currently don't have a clear "ace" if you will. Hamels was supposed to be but he's really struggling; although I do see him stepping up and being fine soon. I see Wainwright as my ace right now.

Any hints or advice would be appreciated!!! THANKS :-)

BTW, this was 10-Team, 3 keeper league.

Hammels will be fine he is still an ace.
Stanton is a player to build a team around... you only sell high on players who are having an usual good streak in hopes that you get more for them than they are worth while they are in their streak knowing that they will fall back to their career levels and you will have leveraged a short term performance for more value. Stanton will go high, stay high and for the next 12 years challenge for the HR crown in MLB.
Keep him - your team could use the HRs anyway.

I would stand pat on my team and wait until the season passes a bit... Its a good team.
The risk in April is tinkering too much and doing something really stupid.. like trading Stanton.
