While I rarely trust an athlete's word immediately following an injury, I've adjusted my faab bid accordingly. Thanks for the info.

Fri, Jun 7

Tony Cingrani has been scratched from Friday's start at Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: It pretty much cinches that he'll be called up to start on Tuesday in place of Johnny Cueto (lat). Cingrani put up a 3.27 ERA and 41/9 K/BB ratio over 33 innings with the Reds earlier this season.

Glad i picked him up, even if it is only for a 2-3 starts.

I'll roll him out there @CHC, but after that it's possible his next 3 starts would be vsMIL, @ARI, @TEX. That's a rough potential stretch.

Remember Soriano took him out twice last time around. Maybe check the winds @CHC before the game.

I don't think I will have the balls to start him @CHC because I have no idea what he will bring. If he does well, MIL is an easy start.

I lost Peavy so I need Tony. I also don't think Milwaukee is that scary.

Is Cingrani a solid start in weekly leagues this week? Gets ChC (Garza) on Tuesday and Mil (Peralta) on Sunday.

I don't see any reason to shy away. In a weekly league, he makes for a near elite play with two starts.

Any world on whether he could stick or if this is purely short-term?

Reports are that Cueto will be ready to start against MIL on Sunday and if that is the case, Cingrani will likely be sent down.
