If it's a really shallow league then it wouldn't hurt to take a chance on him instead of Cobb though, because he has higher upside and if he flops you can just find a waiver replacement.

I don't think I'd drop Cobb for him. Cobb has had one bad inning in two starts, and I think the K-rate spike is legit.

edit to add- is the assumption that once he's up, he's up for good? as in leake is toast if he looks solid out the gate?

I dumped Wandy for him. It was between Wandy and McDonald for me (yes I owned 2 Pirate pitchers). Chose Wandy because he is hurt and McDonald gets 2 starts this week.

That was a good decision. This guy is good and there are a whole bunch of marginal guys like wandy that you could dump in a heartbeat for him.

Trying to figure out who to drop. I have Morrow, Maholm, Cobb,Fernadez, Anderson, Cain & Minor. I don't see any of them as droppable.

I do have Kelvin Herrera, or in a one catcher league Jesus Montero & Gattis. Is it crazy to drop Montero?

This is a keeper league and any waiver pick we get and keep becomes our 25th round pick as long as we have them.

I'd drop a catcher, I don't think it's worth having two catchers in a one C league. If it's as a 12 team league then I would drop Montero, I don't think it's crazy to drop him in a 1C 12 team league at all. He was dropped in my 12 teamer and cleared waivers actually.

Its a 10 team League and I worry about Gattis play time when McCann comes back. Also, I have Alcides and Lowrie but they both help with different things so I'd rather keep both

Honestly Montero probably isn't ownable in a 10 team league with 1 C. There should be other C out there I'd start over him. Go with Gattis for now, and then pick up a different C if Gattis loses playing time.
