I think we will trade for someone to fill in at short, can't imagine Bonifacio playing short..could be disastrous.

I avoided Tulo because I felt Hanley and Reyes were safer bets to stay healthy... :~(

Ugh, as a Mets fan, this is absolutely why I was never on board with giving him a massive contract. He's just constantly banged up and way too liable to have such a devastating injury like this. I drafted him this year for the first time in like 5 years, no idea how to replace him now. He's a top ten player in baseball when healthy.

I feel bad for all of you Reyes owners but this is why I stay away from him on draft day or with trade offers. Seems like something is almost always happening to him. The Blue Jay can't trade too much to get anybody. And who is going to give up a proven shortstop?

Ugggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'd be surprised if he's back by August.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

The average estimate right now in all the Toronto sports media is 3 months which is roughly mid -July.

Is there something stopping them from giving up more prospects?

And who is going to give up a proven shortstop?

Oh, there are plenty of proven shortstops available. Just not particularly good ones. They'll likely target defensive specialists and try to maximize value that way because they're certainly not replacing Reyes' bat.

Report: Jose Reyes will Be back faster than expected. Looks like late June, which is better than the AStar break.

Reyes may be starting a rehab assignment next week...

GREAT NEWS for jays fans and Reyes owners. Could possibly be back by mid-June, well before the All Star Break initially projected.
