I'd probably drop Belt. You're not going to keep him and I dont expect much value from him this year.

Ah, was afraid you'd say that. Trade for belt hasn't yet processed (our trades tack forever....). So risk Herrera is grabbed by then. How much of a stud will he be? Enough to warrant dropping someone else?

I suppose Carpenter is also drop worthy. This is all relative to other potential moves. What other closers/potential closers are left on the free agent list? If this is a league where closers are greatly valued and get scooped early, then Herrera holds more value. If you tell me that Fujikawa, Jim Henderson, and Boggs are still on the Free Agent list, then I'd wait.

Henderson is there but the others are taken.

I would stick where I am. Nothing has been announced other than that Holland is the closer still. All that really happened was that Yost will keep a closer (no pun intended) eye on things. Holland is still the man. Worst case scenario, he will just ride the hot hand, which of course would help nobody (think: mike shanahan and runnings backs)
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I can't see owning Puig in this format. I'd take the near closer over a hail mary OF who would have to break out extremely well to help you out this year and make your keeper list. You risk giving up the spot all year, missing on a truly talented young closer candidate, and not keeping Puig anyways.
