Trade away F. Freeman, Price for Lincecum, Dickey, Texeira

Postby zman3599 » Sun Apr 07, 2013 7:06 pm

Hey guys, would greatly appreciate the help on a trade
I am in a 8 team H2H points league:

scoring :
Batting:
Total Bases (TB) 1 Walks (BB ) 1
Runs Scored (R ) 1 Runs Batted In (RBI) 1
Stolen Bases (SB) 1 Strikeouts (K) -1

Pitching:
Innings Pitched (IP) 3 Earned Runs (ER) -2
Wins (W) 5 Losses (L) -5
Saves (SV) 5 Strikeouts (K) 1
Hits Allowed (H) -1 Walks Issued (BB) -1

I would be trading away Freddie Freeman (just put on the 15 day DL list, but claims he is healthy enough to be playing) and David Price (who has really struggled so far)
and in return would get R.A. Dickey (also struggling), Tim Lincecum, and Mark Texeira (on DL - out until mid-May, early as May 1st)
Here is my current line-up:

Batters:
C Matt Wieters, Bal C
1B Albert Pujols, LAA
2B Jason Kipnis, Cle 2B
3B Ryan Zimmerman, 3B
SS Starlin Castro, ChC SS DTD
2B/SS Elvis Andrus, Tex SS
1B/3B Freddie Freeman*, Atl 1B ---- Trade for Texeira
OF Josh Hamilton, LAA OF
OF Matt Holliday, StL OF
OF Michael Brantley, Cle OF
OF Shane Victorino, Bos OF
OF Josh Willingham, Min OF, DH
UTIL Ike Davis, NYM 1B

Bench Mike Moustakas, 3B (could be put into 1B/3B slot until Texeira is healthy)
DL slot: Curtis Granderson*, OF (INJURED TILL MID MAY-ISH)

Pitching:
P Justin Verlander, Det SP
P David Price, TB SP --- Trade for Dickey and Lincecum
P Mat Latos, Cin SP DTD
P Jordan Zimmermann, Wsh SP
P Max Scherzer, Det SP
P Jarrod Parker, Oak SP

P Jim Johnson, Bal RP
P Greg Holland, KC RP
P Addison Reed, CWS RP

Bench: Alexi Ogando, Tex SP
Bench: Trevor Cahill, Ari SP

What do you guys think ??

No. Price will turn things around. Not too sure about Lincy/Dickey and even Teix.

Sorry that is a horrible trade, do not press panic because you are dealing with some injuries slow starts....heck if you did this deal you'd assume way too much risk...not nearly enough reward. I think your team might be out of it if you did this deal honestly too far back to come back.

Okey doke I appreciate all the feedback, I will decline with post hast. I lost my first outing this week by A LOT, so I needed a little reassurance.

Awful trade. Don't even entertain this offer.
