Definitely the second one. Feels like you have better guys on both sides of the ball. No true pitching ace on the first team. Gio is good, but I have a hard time believing he can hang with the likes of Verlander, Kershaw, Cain, Hamels, Weaver, Lee, Grienke, etc. And the rest of the first pitching staff is really unproven. And the whole infield and looks good on that second team.

The second team is stacked. The pitching is very good, you have great power and some guys who can easily have breakout years (Middlebrooks, Fernandez). I do think Medlen can have a big year, but the first team seems to be lacking on both sides of the ball. Kemp can carry the team, but there are a lot of question marks there - Utley, Hamilton, Trumbo. You could stand to upgrade your hitters a bit with another solid, reliable bat, preferably someone who hits for average to compliment your pure power hitters.
