Trade Jered Weaver, WHIR

Postby TitsMcGahee » Fri Apr 05, 2013 11:59 am

I am thinking of trading Jered Weaver. Most of his stats are pointing to a regression. Velocity and K rate decreasing each season. Will he continue to defy the odds? What kind of value could I get for him? Could I get Chris Sale? My Roto is:

Hamels
Weaver
Scherzer
Moore
Cobb
Milone
Fiers

Could I add a bat and compete without Weaver?

I wouldn't take weaver for sale. Trading him for a batter weakens your staff too much. I'm not crazy about milone and fiers. You would be putting a lot of faith in them.

I think I would try and do that trade. Can't hurt. One is on the way up , and one on the way down. IF you can get the one on the way up. good work.

Sale isn't a bad target. My first reaction was you could probably get more. A lot of people are scared off Sale because of potential injuries.

Yeah i am really not sure. Turns out Weaver was #8 overall last season according to baseball monster. Maybe it was inflated because of wins, I may stay put or high ball some offers.
