Before the season started I would have ranked Ogando higher than Haren or Kuroda. His performance yesterday solidifies that for me. No way would I consider dropping him. I agree with plamb though, I wouldn't drop any of them yet. Give them a few starts to see how they do before you do anything.
I'm not in love with him, but compared to Kuroda I think it is an easy decision. Ogando's potential is higher than Kuroda's, and now with Kuroda's injury, it pretty much solidifies it for me. Kuroda is a streamer. Ogando could still be a streamer, but has the potential for me. I'll take the upside any day. Especially when it comes to making drop/add decisions at the backend of my rotation. I'm assuming this guy already has some well-established arms at the front-end, so why not go for potential at the back-end?
