Harrison: 9 K
Darvish: 14 K
Ogando: 10 K
Straily: 11K

They have drawn 5 walks as a team. I have seen enough. These guys are horrible and I will be streaming Colon tomorrow.

Me too. It's gonna be a really ugly year in Houston. The Blue Jays radio guy left this year to be the colour guy in Houston. I wonder if he's enjoying himself.

And an Astros thread wouldn't be complete without one of my favouraite baseball GIFs of all time:

There are about 25 pitchers worth starting every week in fantasy baseball if you have unlimited moves and daily rosters and a deep enough bench to not have to drop pitchers. The rest of your starts are whoever is facing the awful offenses that has an ok skillset. That is why most leagues try to build something in to avoid constant pitch streaming. Yes you should be starting every pitcher you can against the Astros and yes their offense will be weaker this year from a fantasy standpoint since while they added a little OPS they added a ton of Ks.

I'd do it but my league has a maximum moves of 60, and I come close to that every year without streaming so there's no way it'd be possible.

If Haren keeps falling on his face, I'll be Houston streaming shortly.

It isn't just Houston. It is Pittsburgh, it is Minnesota if you have a LHP. It is Miami. It is the Cubs. It is the Brewers as long as 70% of their lineup is injured like it is right now. It is the Padres and it is the Yankees against a LHP for now at least.

There are just so many streaming choices right now that SP are worthless. Especially when you consider how random April is for pitching with so many aces getting worked over right now.

Baseball is a funny sport and know funny things can and offen do happen.

Houston is a really bad team and there is no question about that but don't think in a minute that they can't be a dangerous team and that they can't make you pay for playing that.

Sure, It might not be a bad idea but I would tell you don't blindly jump into it for they will make you pay for it but it's alright if your smart about what pitchers you will use and what pitchers you will not use.

the Astros are terrible, but there is some potential with some of their hitters. Jason Castro hit a 3 run HR off of Colon. I think they could have games with 5 plus runs if they can have a few HR. they have high K hitters capable of hitting HR. Carter, Pena, Castro, Maxwell, Martinez, Ankiel.

so far I have streamed Straily and Colon. I have Mauer to go. but Saunders was too much of a risk for me today. I'm in a 16 team league, so I even picked up Stephen Pryor for out of the bullpen.

Rolling out Saunders @ Safeco. We'll see who wins this bumfight.
