I have Stanton in his final keeper year and a guy in my league really wants him. He doesn't want to give up Harper, buthe seems willing to give up other pieces. If I gave him, say, Stanton and Matt Carpenter, are there two guys in his team that would've worth netting? Could I nab Freddie Freeman and Adam Jones? Anyone I could give along with Stanton to net those two?

My Team, pending recent deal:
C Salvador Perez 1B Prince Fielder 2B Jose Altuve 3B Miguel Cabrera SS Andrelton Simmons OF Ryan Braun OF Justin Upton OF Giancarlo Stanton UT Ben Revere UT Melky Cabrera UT Manny Machado BN Kevin Youkilis (1B/3B) BN Matt Carpenter (1B, 3B, OF, eventually 2B) BN Yasiel Puig (OF, would like to hold for now)

Pierzynski billy butler Neil walker Sandoval Ian Desmond Bryce Harper Adam Jones BJ Upton Beltre Freeman Kubel Bench: Espinosa, alexei Ramirez, lowrie
Hmm. I actually wouldn't mind asking for Desmond and Jones/Freeman in this scenario. I think Desmond is going to finish as a top 3 SS this year, if not the top SS (yes, I know Tulo is raking, but he'll miss 30-40 games, guaranteed).
You can't keep Stanton past this year, and his value is at an all-time high. He may not have such a stellar year if there is no lineup protection whatsoever. A lot of teams could end up pitching around him, and I don't know if many guys would be getting on base to be driven in anyway.
I'd first try Stanton and Carpenter for Desmond, Jones, AND Freeman. Why not? If he wants Stanton as much as he claims, that could actuallly work. He has Espinosa/Lowrie to fill in for Desmond, and he only uses Freeman as a UTL bat right now, with Butler at 1B. If that doesn't work, then maybe cut out Jones or Freeman and try just Stanton on your end. And then, if that doesn't work, you could consider making a 2 for 2 swap.
But you definitely don't want to undersell on Stanton, because he is still a 45 HR threat.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
