And Axford has the look of a total train wreck. Have he and Coke in one league. Brutal.

This is a tremendous feel-good story.

Nate Freiman was Rule V'd to the Astros after being Padres property. The A's scooped him up off waivers with about 2 weeks to go in spring training.

He's 2 for 2 with and RBI single in his first 2 ML at bats.

Why do I care?

He played 6 years for my organization and I've seen him grow up from a gangly 11 year old kid to a big leaguer.

What a journey and I will always root for him, even though he's on the wrong side of an Oakland 1B platoon.

Dan Straily and Fatolo Colon against the Astros FTW.

Yeah, Timmay had better get the "W" after this foolishness.

He looks like Dice-K out there.

That's awesome I was just watching the A's game. He is still tall and gangly looking. ;-D

His control is definitely an issue, but his stuff seems to be there, which is encouraging.

Kemp looks like a hot mess right now. He's playing with zero confidence.

Putz in the dreaded "home closer in tied game in 9th" situation. Anyone else holding their breath? :-o
