Fair Trades? *WHIR*

Postby illinifan15 » Wed Apr 03, 2013 12:02 am

I'm in a 5x5 Roto keeper league.

I really need closers, and am thinking about a couple trades to propose. I would greatly appreciate your input.

The first trade:
(My)- Adam Dunn, AJ Burnett, Chris Capuano
- for-
(His)- Chris Davis, Huston Street

Second Trade:
(My) Mark Buerhle
- for -
(His) Sergio Romo

I'm just trying to gauge if what I'm offering is a fair trade or not.

Thanks in advance.

The first trade: swap street for a different closer. Street is an injury risk and annoying player to have to own. I like that u are targeting Chris Davis. Potential 40HR. But get someone other than street.

Second trade: while buehrle finds himself on a team that could give him a lot of wins, not sure he's enough for romo straight up. Could try it, of it's rejected, this is where u come back with a majorly improved offer and it will get the managers attention second time round

First trade isn't really fair, but you win it big time if he accepts.

Second trade isn't fair either, but you win the trade big time if he accepts it.

I'd much rather have the Chris Davis side in the first trade and much rather have the Romo side in the second trade.

This. No way anyone should accept Buerhle for Romo in any format.

quoted for truth. You're basically trading garbage for worthwhile fantasy pieces. I don't see either one being accepted, but it's worth a shot. There are some silly people out there...
