There's next to no chance he doesn't throw a CGSO today. Only thing that looks like it could stop him is his teammates failing to score. Unbelievable. 71 pitches through 7, and he just looks unhittable. Cain looked almost as good himself.

His teammates have failed to score and he's still gonna do it.

Verlander has 91 pitches through 5. I would kind of like to see him pulled so I can get a look at the pen

Chris Sale is still really good. Check. Also, Billy Butler is fat. And I mean fatter than before. He may be like 330.

I think Butler might have actually lost weight from last season. He is very fat.

Bases juiced for Doumit and the Twinks in the 7th and Leyland bringing in Alburquerque.

Doumit is my starting C while McCann is out but I'm stashing Alburquerque on my bench in hopes of him getting the closer gig. I don't know what to be rooting for here. :-S

Gives up an RBI single to Doumit and then impressively Ks the next two two preserve the Tigers 1-run lead. Guess that's the best of both worlds.

Coke getting the first crack. Willingham (R), Morneau (L), Doumit (S) due up.

EDIT: Benoit stayed in to get Willingham.

For those in deeper leagues, Ludwick is out with a dislocated shoulder, Heisey should see the majority of the time out there for now.
