I assume the Mets will score 11 Runs per game all season. Also, lolPadres.

His velocity was mostly 88-90, which is troubling. Too early to panic, but the Yankees cannot have liked seeing that. He did seem to get stronger as the game progressed.

Samardzija looked dominant, and my sleeper platoon Chacin wasn't half-bad either. ;-D

Rockies bullpen blows Chacin's W.

Fujikawa gets the save over Marmol.

Marmol came in, but couldn't get the job done. K, HBP, SB, single(Run), Walk, pulled from game. Russell in for one out, then Fujikawa for 2 pitch save

Marmol isn't going to last a week as the full time closer.

Cain and Kershaw in a duel but Cain is done due to pitch count. Kershaw could probably pitch into the 13th.

There's next to no chance he doesn't throw a CGSO today. Only thing that looks like it could stop him is his teammates failing to score. Unbelievable. 71 pitches through 7, and he just looks unhittable. Cain looked almost as good himself.

Wow, Kershaw has to do it all alone.
