Umm...did anybody else start Marte?

:-P

Roto league. Sitting there last night going...hmm...do I start him or not? I was like, the pro is that he'll blank the other team. The con...I'm wasting innings on what'll likely not be a save. Ugh...looks like I jinxed him. :~(

I'm not willing to give up on him yet, I still think there's a great chance he gets 10+ saves again this year.

too bad i'm not in ur league guest cuz he'd be on my team as soon as he cleared waivers... it's ONE OUTING fellas... this guy will be the closer by the end of the season and should put up great #s for the rest of this year... ignore this outing and marte is well capable of having a sub 3 ERA a great WHIP and a good assortment of holds and saves.

Yeah, it's really not time to give up yet. This guy is absolutely nasty. I think he'll end up closing fulltime for the White Sox. They've got Wunsch to face lefties. Guillen has already showed that he's the guy that he trusts.

I agree. I think it's a little early to give up on a guy after one bad outing. I have him in one of my leagues, and have no intention of dropping him right now. Of course, my league counts holds, so I'm counting on him helping me in more than just ERA and WHIP.
