They may have made many very questionable decisions this offseason, but I still think the D'Backs have the best shot at the division. Would have been good if they got one good SS instead of two crappy ones, but the rest of the roster is pretty solid. If they continue to make decisions that hurt their team then that might change. But as it stands I like their pitching depth, even if they lack an ace, and they have a bullpen that can shut down games.

Either way, this will be a great one to follow as I think there are 4 teams with a real shot at winning it.

I see it being a battle between LA and SF with Arizona possibly being in the mix.

I can't see Colorado or SD winning.

Going to be close between the Dodgers and Giants all year, but I think Dodgers on top in the end. Spending all that money miraculously pays off.

This my friends is easily the best division in baseball. Any team could win it in any year. ;-D

Nobody can stay up late enough to watch them.
I only know San Diego has a baseball team because of you and your avatar.

There's no way this is the best division in baseball. Texas and LAA are both great teams, and a young Oakland team coming off a pennant is also int he AL West. The Mariners are also an up and coming team. The AL West is the best division in baseball.

you cant really think AZ is the best team in the division can you?
the bullpen will be fine, but the rest of the team is borderline awful

1. Dodgers - team is loaded and they can withstand a few injuries.
2. Giants - pitching will be good but it won't be enough to overcome a disappointing offense. Belt could be the difference maker though.
3. Rockies - Tulo and company are due to stay healthy and that offense is going to kick butt. Too bad they'll have to score 6+ runs a game to win.
4. Diamondbacks - some decent players and budding star in Goldy but too many holes.
5. Padres - fences got moved in but the pitching staff sucks - not a good combo to go along with a mediocre offense.
