Would anyone consider going Tulo/Pedroia at the turn?

I think taking 2 MI early is just an awful idea. They are much higher risk than OF or 1B even when they aren't two guys who have had some injury bugs like those two.

Seriously, why is Bryce Harper on this list?

Ya, I can think of at least 20 guys who should be on it over him. Taking him much earlier than the 4th round seems pretty risky to me. Obviously the upside is there, but where he's going is ridiculous.

Come to think of it, Bautista could add a surprising number of stolen bases if he's healthy. He got 9 steals for 2 years. But here's what's key...Jose Reyes will be on base a lot more than whatever scrub leadoff hitter the Jays were using before. With Reyes on 2nd and Bautista on 1st, he will be the benefactor of a lot of cheesy double steals. Plus it's possible that at some point in time Boni bats 2nd (really depends on Melky's performance). I'd pencil Bats in for 10-15 SB.

That's cool. I'll take the over on Justin Upton being worth pick n#12 though :-D

Disagree. He's had an xBABIP around .285 the last couple of years and not much lower than that in 2010. While that's not super high, the number of homeruns he hits more than makes up for it. Based on my projections if he had a .280 BABIP he'd have around a .280 average. Might be optimistic but I think he's easily over a .260 guy.

Tulo's the easy 1st choice. 2nd choice is much more difficult. Beltre is the safe choice I think. Of all the other guys, honestly I like Harper and Harper isn't coming back to me in the 3rd. I'd go Beltre though.

I am thinking Upton for sure if he is still there. I like Bautista too but I don't like 2 outfielders in the first 2 picks. What about Upton and Longoria. I know it's a reach but I would consider Upton and Goldschmidt at the turn too.

Way too early for Longoria and Goldschmidt imo. I don't have a problem taking two outfielders if they're the best available but even if I didn't want to I'd take Pedroia long before either of them.
