2 Start Strategy

Postby howie789 » Tue Mar 26, 2013 9:49 pm

Ricky Nolasco going twice (for a bad Mia team), and he's facing another one of my starters in Gio Gonzalez on Opening Day, in Wash. Should I start him, or Dillon Gee, who will only go once- but will start against Mia at home on the weekend. Do you always go with the two starts? H2H pts format by the way. Thanks.

In H2H Points I would pretty much g 100% of the time with 2-starts unless its very easy for a pitcher to earn negative points in a start. Two so so starts will frequently outscore one good one in most league setups I've seen. It depends ultimately on the scoring system though.

I've got Nolasco in 1 league and I'm not afraid to use him in most 2 start weeks. Should keep decent ratios and pick up a W here and there at the very least.
