I find myself owning more than a few shares of Cliff Lee, Nick Markakis, and Wilin Rosario, so I imagine I value them more than most drafters. With Lee, I guess it's the wins that torpedoed his adp -- fine, sign me up. Markakis is not going to win you your league, but I like him as a late outfielder. His power bounced back a bit in his non-dl time last year, he's always been good for average and reliable in the counting stats (although the handful of steals might well be gone). And at least the second injury (broken thumb from a hbp) isn't worrisome. I thought I'd own Salvador Perez almost everywhere, but then the hrs from Rosario keep pulling me in...

In h2h, though, I usually punt on pitching for the early rounds, so Lee and Markakis might not make the cut as often there.

Dustin Ackley
Denard Span
Nelson Cruz
Justin Morneau
Chase Utley
Dayan Viciedo

Cole Hamels
Jason Hammel

Pitching is tricky because it goes in such different orders every draft but Hamels always seems underrated. Would rather have him than say King Felix who goes a round before him usually.

Players that keep showing up on my rosters. 7 teams this year.

Choo - 5 teams
Holliday - 5 teams
Napoli - 4 teams
Butler - 4 teams
Rutledge - 3 teams he seemed to be available really late in few of my leagues.

I keep ending up with Choo and Rutledge, too. Only two leagues so far, but got them in both. Rutledge is dirt cheap usually. Essentially all other SS have been way overpriced. Seems people are back to over-reacting to position scarcity. Conversely, 1Bs have been going too cheap because of the apparent abundance.

Went after Napoli in each of my leagues too, but missed him both times. I think he's pretty much 100% healthy for this year but was hoping people would be scared away by the degenerative hip thing, which by all accounts is not yet a problem.

Utley is another good call. Might miss some time here and there, but people always forget to incorporate replacement player stats for time missed and therefore Utley drops way down the draft board.

For OFs, Torii Hunter is under-appreciated yet again. Ryan Ludwick, too.

;-D

I'm only doing 1 league this year and got Choo, Holliday and Napoli on that team and just missed out on Butler and Rutledge who I was targeting in the round they got taken in.

I'm liking AGon as a bounceback guy in the 3rd-4th round as well. Also, Ichiro and Morneau.

I noticed a few of you listed Brandon Moss. What kind of #s are you guys projecting for him this year?

I've was able to get Hunter Pence with the 124th pick in a draft i did last week and I thought that was really good value.

I had Butler sniped from me in that league so you weren't getting him =p

I have 4 teams this year and Melky Cabrera is on all four. Fister and Fujikawa made three teams. Also have these guys twice: Mauer, Cano, Altuve, Aram, ECabrera, Ortiz, Rollins, Hart, Eaton, Hunter, Lohse, Marcum, Miller. I'm kind of amazed I don't have the same closer twice.
