You're gonna miss out on some offense at the start of the season with Headley, Ramirez, and Granderson. Hopefully Trumbo and Rutledge can have a hot couple of months, but you may have to take a chance on someone off the FA list, too. Also, I don't know how long you're willing to wait for Feliz, but I think it'll be a while. Might reconsider that roster spot, you've got other guys that can go on the DL for 2 months to open up another slot. Hopefully, you can eke by for a few weeks and I hope you get 1st half McDonald, too. Good luck!
Yeah, like the above poster said, it's going to be rough going for you early with Headley, Ramirez and Grandy being down. It's possible this could be a tough year in general for those guys and it seems like you went with a strategy to make pitching gains early in your draft. I'm a big fan of waiting for the middle tier pitching options to come to me in drafts and making as much head way in as many offensive categories early on as I can. That said, if your team gets healthy, you have nice balance and with some luck your get in the playoffs and your team is hitting it's stride at the right time of year. Middlebrooks might force his way into your line-up everyday, Rizzo was probably a good value pick up for you
Made a couple WW pickups and traded Rutledge and Garcia for Santana and Romero. Thoughts on my new team? I'll probably drop Feliz (and maybe Romero) and put some of my others guys on the DL once they become eligble, then I'll pick up a couple pitchers.
