Which young SP would you pick? WHIR

Postby ichirosan » Sat Mar 23, 2013 12:09 pm

20-man dynasty H2H league. I already have my pitching staff set (Verlander, Zimmermmann, Johnson, Wilson, Cahill and Holland), but I want to add a flier at SP. The options I'm looking at are:

Daniel Straily
Brad Peacock
Jake Arrieta
Rick Porcello

Leaning towards Arrieta. What do you think?

Straily or Peacock IMO, leaning towards Straily. If Porcello gets traded though, that will most likely boost his value.

Picked up Straily. I think one of the others might be available at the end of the draft, so I'll probably go with 8 SP for the first few weeks.

Thanks!

;-D Good move, Straily looks to have a solid K rate.

The only one I would definitely rule out is Peacock. I think the other 3 could post very similar lines this year. Although, I would say that Arrieta has the most upside, Straily may be the safer pick.

Straily. Love young A's arms in that cavernous park.
