Smart thing to do would be to send Pollock down. The Kevin Towers thing to do would be to do the opposite of the smart thing to do, so it's hard to tell. Has Pollock shown enough grit to be on his good side? The guy had a .780 OPS in the PCL last season as a 24 year old. He's not that good. I'm pretty sure Brendan Ryan would have a 900 OPS in that league. You still have to think they give regular at-bats to Eaton when he's ready. He's arguably their most talented outfielder and is certainly much better than AJ Pollock.
