Looks pretty good for the most part. Could be better at 1st, you seem to have a lot of outfielders, maybe trade a couple for a better 1st basemen? Carlos Ruiz is another guy to keep an eye on if you have another option for catcher until he gets back from his suspension. http://games.espn.go.com/flb/clubhouse? ... sonId=2013

Quick question: I don't see a single first-round worthy pick on your team. Who did you pick in round 1? Stanton? He's a second rounder in a 10-teamer, all day...

I'm not in love with this team, sorry... Between Napoli's chronic hip problem (and not having a backup on your team), Hamilton's injury prone ways, Curtis Granderson in your UTIL (you know he's out until at least May, right?), Eaton on your bench (out 6-8 weeks.. drop him!), Paul Konerko's question-mark performance outlook (will he repeat last year's first half?) and Utley's injury history, this doesn't look like a team I'd feel very comfortable with. At all.

In a 10-team league, there should be a better 2B available than Scutaro. Great to have as a backup, but I wouldn't want him to start for me every day. I'd much rather have a Josh Rutledge if available, for instance. Aramis and Starlin are good picks for 3B and short, and Stanton is clearly a great pick. Jackson is a fine OF3.

Your SP is better, though again: I do not see a legit ace. Gio is an upper tier guy for sure, CC and Shields are about in the same tier, but missing out on a true ace (Felix, Verlander, Weaver, Price, those kinds of guys) in a pitcher's league could be devastating. Moore needs to turn it around to be useful, but he's a decent pick. Axford and Broxton are decent RPs, can't hurt you that much if the return to form.

Your bench is weak. As mentioned, Eaton is droppable because he's injured (get Starling Marte if you want a similar guy to replace him), Utley is fine when healthy, Michael Young is a question mark, Berkman is not roster worthy in a 10-team league (there are better 1B backup alternatives on the wire -- Colvin, Garret Jones, those kinds of guys). Ben Revere is definitely rosterable; I like him for steals. Your bench pitchers are solid though, save for E-Jax. You're in good shape there.

Sorry, I wish I could've been more positive. There are just too many question marks, injury prone and mediocre guys on your roster for me to feel comfortable, especially in a 10-team league.

Oh no that's awesome advice and I appreciate it. It was a keeper league and I kept Stanton.

This is my first post on this site, I get on here often and read, however I feel inclined... I want to start by saying I applaud the gentleman with this response and I agree with the majority of what you are saying.

"Quick question: I don't see a single first-round worthy pick on your team. Who did you pick in round 1? Stanton? He's a second rounder in a 10-teamer, all day...

I had a draft last night 10 team H2H league I had the 9th overall picked, here is how my team faired...

C. Joe Mauer
1B. Prince Fielder
2B. Ben Zobrist
SS. Elvis Andrus
3B. Kyle Seager
2b/SS Jose Altuve
1b/3b Joey Votto
OF Adam Jones
OF Carlos Beltran
OF Josh Reddick
OF Alfonso Soriano
OF Brandon Moss
Be. Chase Utley
Be. Michael Young
Be. Michael Cuddyer

SP. Chris Sale
SP. Kris Medlen
SP. Ryan Vogelsong
SP. Matt Harvey
SP. Derek Holland
SP. Mike Minor
RP. Mariano Rivera
RP. JJ Putz
RP. John Axford
Be. Josh Beckett

Can I get a brutally honest response on this one? Also I will be happy to give my two cents on anyone else's teams as well. however my advice should be taken with a grain of salt as I deem myself to be no expert in the world of fantasy baseball.
