What if I tried to sub Gio in for Darvish? The deal doesn't happen without Strasburg and I agree that Darvish has seriously high potential. I could see Gio regressing. And I'm not giving up Bumgarner.

Pitchers available as FAs that I could add to shore up my rotation:

Cobb, Teheran, Beckett, Dempster, Lohse, Burnett

Hmm. I'd probably keep Gio over Yu, although it's mostly a coin flip. Cobb and Teheran are both solid options off that list.

I like it much better. You'd still have Darvish, Gallardo, Bumgarner, which is still pretty solid. I just don't like giving away two aces.

Add Revere to the trade and do it, Braun is a beast, top 10. Take it and run, you at least get two good pitchers in the deal.

I'd take Braun easily. Potentially could be the #1 Fantasy player in 2013. Strasburg has yet to pitch 160 innings, so he still has to prove himself. Yu would be tough to let go as he is 200+ K guy, but your pitching will be fine to go along with that great offense.

DO IT!

I'd stick with your current team.
