I am faced with a similar dilema in my dynasty league. I have the 8th pick in our draft and I am trying to decide between Puig/Russell/Dahl/Almora/Gausman/Zimmer. I don't want to reach for Puig based on his spring training stats, but it's hard to argue that any of those other players should be drafted over him right now.

A lot of players that I like there. A month ago I would have told you to pick him after all of those players except maybe Zimmer and Almora. Zimmer tweaked his arm last year although everyone says it's not a big deal I'm concerned about KC's track record with pitching prospects. Almora seems like a nice all around player that doesn't standout in fantasy. Gausman likewise. His 3rd pitch has potential but he's going to pitch in the AL East and I could see him being very successful going 13-10 with a 4.00 ERA every season. Russell and Dahl are two guys that are flying up lists based on rk ball numbers last year. I guess I would take Puig over the 3 HS'ers because he'll be ready in 1 yr or sooner while the HS'ers will take 3-4 yrs. And Puig has the kind of upside I look for in prospects.
