Desparetly need analysis for my Dynasty team!

Postby wpd4305 » Tue Mar 19, 2013 6:51 pm

Please help me analyze my dynasty team! Would you make any preseason trades to help with weak positions? If so who would you trade and who would you trade for? Or do you think my team is money and I just need to stay the course with them. I won two of my last three championships with this team, but did not even make the championship game last year. I will offer analysis of your team in return thanks. My league is standard H2H scoring.

Starting Batters
C - Yadier Molina
1st - Andrian Gonzalez (also available at OF)
2nd - Dustin Pedrioa
3rd - Pablo Sandoval
SS - Hanley Ramirez (also available at 3rd)
OF - Ryan Braun
OF - Carlos Gonzalez
OF - Mike Trout
DH - Jose Bautista

Benched Batters
2nd - Jason Kipnis
SS - J.J. Hardy
OF - Josh Reddick
OF - Josh Willingham

PItchers
SP - Roy Halladay
SP - Jon Lester
SP - Justin Verlander
SP - Adam Wainwright
SP - David Price
SP- Ricky Romero
SP - Kris Medlin
SP - Bret Anderson
SP - Doug Fister
SP - Lance Lynn
RP - Greg Holland

I can start any seven of those pitchers, we do not have a set number of relief pitchers to start and as you can see I lack relief pitchers.

Very nice roster and it just goes to show you that even with a great team anything can happen in h2h, btw you could use some saves and since I'm not hot on Halladay see what closers you can get for him ;-D

How shallow is your league? Your team would be impossibly good in the 20 team dynasty that I'm in. It's hard to find much weakness at all.

If I have to pick something, you have no real farm system to speak of. You might drop one or two of you bench guys to try to pick up the All Stars of tomorrow if they are available. Profar, Taveras, Bundy, Bogaerts, Myers, Cole, Miller, etc..

I'd dump Wainwright now while he still holds some value. Maybe Halladay after him.
Hold onto Romero, he's worthless and can only go up.
I like the suggestion ahead of me to go after some youth.

Maybe you could move one of those previously mentioned SPs for an 'AllStars of Tomorrow" ;-)
