Working with the game on in the Background

Postby Mookie4ever » Mon Apr 05, 2004 12:26 pm

Opening day - and I'm stuck at work #@$%#!@$%

At least I can shut my door, turn the ringer off my phone and work with the game on in the background.

I may even crack open a few as I listen to the Jays beat the Tigers mercilessly in retribution for 1987.

what are your plans?

Think I'll just open up one of the game trackers on ESPN or Sportsline to track the games that way. They are actually kinda cool ways to see how the game is going and you can easily switch around to multiple games.

Ill keep an eye on the game on MLB.com's gameday - thats the best I can do.

Id love to talk smack about how the Tigers are going to ruin TORs home opener, but I think Halladay is probably too much for the Tigs to handle. You wont sweep us in this series though.

Bonderman may have a chance against Hentgen who has been stinking it up. So maybe a 2-1 split.

I'm looking forward to watching (or at least listening to) Sanchez play.

4 batters, 3 strikeouts. Halladay looks good so far! :D

(Halladay owner and Toronto Homer).
