What have you guys heard about him? Is he going to be closing in arizona or a set up man. HE is available in my waivers as is alfonseca, and i need another save guy behind rivera and baez. What is the deal with mantei?

Both mantei and Alfonseca are set to close. Mantei is an injury risk. Alfonseca will have a high era. Choose accordingly.

Mantei has been impressive early in camp. Alfonseca gets some saves, but he's inconsistent. He may get replaced if he falters early.

I'd got with the D-backs closer.

I lost out on both on waivers. I had mantei my #1 guy at #5 priority, but the number 3 guy got him and I lost out on alfonseca too. I am not sure now. I did get Hoffman and I will put him on IL. I still have rivera and Baez. not sure where to go now though.

Hoefully with Rivera, Baez and eventually Hoffman(I have him too) you should be fine. Only Rivera and Baez....... :-o

Well.......Have you looked at the Sticky post on closers in this forum? It lists all probable starting closers for the beginning of the season. There has to be a guy on the list worth taking a chance on that nobody has in your league. Especially if Mantai, Hoffman and Alfonseca were taken off waivers.
