I saw this trade in a league and I can't see how this makes any sense... It is a 10 team roto 5 x 5 league.

Justin Upton

Team B:

Y. Cesppedes
N. Cruz

This seems carzy to me. Let me know what you think.

Nope, not crazy at all. Someone really likes Upton, his stats potential, and new digs. Someone else wants to take a chance on a sophomore season by Cespedes and a consistently injured guy who really hasn't returned much in the past few years.

Definitely not veto worthy at all. It's a risk on both sides, but I believe the only way the veto should be used is if someone is intentionally dumping their team. That is not the case here at all.

This looks like a trade where you can rationalize both sides, as the others have done well. Not even worth considering for a veto.

Not crazy at all and I veto everything.

Upton is a 2nd/3rd rounder and Cespedes is a 5th rounder. I hate Cruz but someone who believes in him, that could be the difference between the 2.

I'd agree that this is reasonable. I wouldn't veto.

As a league manager, sometimes I look at a trade and shake my head a little and say that I would never do it, but not liking a trade (at all, in some cases) doesn't necessarily make it vetoable. As long as there's a reasonable rationale (or in some case a tremendous sales job, ) you just to shake your head (again) and let it go.

Never a bad idea to get a second opinion, though.
