In a 20-team H2H dynasty league (standard cats plus holds and OPS), I am smack in the middle of a major youth movement of a pretty bad team I took over mid-season last year. Just got offered Prince Fielder and Edwin Jackson for Goldschmidt and Profar. After thinking about it for a few moments, and given my desire to build a dynasty through youth, I turned it down. I have high hopes for Goldy and am reluctant to give up the #1 prospect in baseball given my current team situation. But now I'm wondering if I should've grabbed Fielder, or at least countered with a better SP on his side (his top four are Gio, Gallardo, Morrow, and Lester).
My roster (listed below) is definitely built for the future. But am I crazy to turn down the Prince? All opinions welcome, thanks!
