Choo as 5th Rd Keeper?

I'm in a keeper league where you keep a guy in the round they were selected in the previous year, and they move up a round in each subsequent year if you want to keep them again. I basically sold the farm to compete last year and, due to our league rules, am thus left with limited keeper options. We're about 5 years in so most of the top talent is not available as they are being kept by other teams. We announce keepers in order of last season's standings, I finished 3rd so I am third to pick keepers. I am picking 10th overall in a snake draft. I can keep up to 5 guys (max 3 hitters/pitchers), and right now will be keeping:

Starlin Castro (Round 2)
Freeman (7)
Greinke (13)
Sale (21)

My only other guy who is even remotely keeper-worthy is Choo, but I would have to keep him in the 5th round. I know this is very limited info as it's difficult to project who will be available. But I was just hoping I could get some gut reactions on this. Is Choo possibly worth keeping for a 5th round pick or should I just keep the above 4 guys and hope there's a better option there in round 5?

I think Choo's value is anywhere in between 77-90. So, in a 12 team league you would be overpaying to give up a 5th for him. Take your chances in the draft.

I have Choo ranked as a late third/early fourth round guy, so I'd keep him there no sweat.

I think you should drop Choo.

Assuming there are 12-teams in your league with a max of 3 hitting keepers, that means that at most the top 36 batters will be kept. I think there will be some better hitting options than Choo available, even if you have the 10th pick in the 6th round.

Moreover, by dropping Choo I assume you get an early crack at the player pool in the fifth round. I bet a couple of other teams might try the same thing, but that fifth round pick should still be better than keeping five with Choo and picking #70.

Yeah I'd take my chances in the draft and send Choo back. There are most likely better options out there than him, and I'm still not 100% sold on him having a great season

I'd keep Choo and I'd bet you can't get better than him in your 5th round if all of the better players are being kept.
