wanted to see how many play mvp (ps2), if you haven't ... i suggest every baseball fan and video game player play it, the gameplay and graphics phenomenal
yes, it is a great game. it gets even better once you edid the rosters and get accurate gameplay sliders. that fixes a few of the game play issues(computer almost never strikes out, your OF's are too slow, too many CPU triples)
the only things that still bug me are that the computer never steals and it is very dificult to hit HR's with lefties. if they improve these things and fix some bugs in dynasty mode for next year it will be the best sports game ever. as far as im concerned, that title belongs to NCAA football 2004
EA bought the High Heat franchise last year from the defunct 3DO. They also bought the (imo) greatest sports computer game ever - Front Office Football.

It's a glitch in every game, ashame too. Didn't know about the glitch 'til I decided to try the Home Run Showdown with the Babe after I unlocked him. Imagine how shocked I was when I never reached 400.

EA didn't buy the High Heat license, Microsoft did.

I got it last week for Gamecube. Great game. The lefty HR thing is kind of annoying and CPU makes amazing plays in the field but still the best baseball game I've seen since Earl Weaver Baseball.
btw - MVP 2004 is a memory hog. If you get it I would get a new memory card.
