JJ Hardy or Josh Rutledge?

Postby Brizee8 » Sun Mar 10, 2013 11:46 am

I currently own JJ Hardy, but Josh Rutledge is a free agent. I also have Ben Zobrist and Everth Cabrera eligible at short. I need Cabrera for the steals.

Should I keep Hardy or drop him for Rutledge?

I'd rather have Rutledge who can play SS and 2b for you. He'll steal bases to and provide you with power. If you need cheap speed I'd snag an OF for your utility slot.

Rutledge is the riskier pick, but has the potential upside to make it worth it and has the dual eligibility. He's one this season's early sleepers.

If anything, I'd choose between Rutledge and Cabrera and Hold on to Hardy. In that scenario I'd take Rutledge and have players with multiple eligibility.

I can easily drop Cabrera. I was just concerned about the steals.
