It's pretty ridiculous that there are no suspensions from this. Probably works out better for Canada anyway, since we won't be missing anybody in the do-or-die game against the US tonight.

It's also pretty amazing how easy it is to get a grown man to act like a 9 year old. Congrats Luis Cruz, way to defend your "honour". Not only did your team get eliminated, but you embarassed your country in the process.

So your saying that if you're going to tag the batter it has to be on the sly otherwise it's taboo. }:-)

No, I'm saying he acted like a child and embarrassed his country.

its Mexico. Have you been to Mexico? You'd have to do a lot more than start a fight to embarrass Mexico.

Okay, I'll start. Alfredo Aceves, if he doesn't keep the job in the MLB, should try out to be an NHL defenseman. He tried to take on the entire Canadian team in the news clip I saw this morning. That's gutsy and worth a few penalty minutes on any team.

Well then he was jumped by about ten members of team Canada. It is pretty easy to punch a guy who is being held by three other guys. Team Canada and team Mexico both came off looking terrible after that brawl.

I thought it was great. Best WBC game I've ever seen. There's nothing like a basebrawl to get the blood pumping.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

It has been a great WBC but this is sadly true. We just aren't into international sports. I always used to think it was because most of them like Soccer are just so terrible that nobody wants to watch them, but it is just a cultural thing I guess.
