This offer has been proposed to me. Right now, we've only declared our 15 keepers. If I accept this trade, I'd only be able to keep McCutcheon this year and next year. I could keep Bumgarner this year and the next two, Weaver this and the next three, and Gonzalez this and the next four.
My outfielders at the moment are Braun (last year to keep him), Ellsbury (last), Choo (this and next two), and Jennings (this and next four). In addition to the 3 pitchers I could trade, I also have M Moore (for three more seasons) and Medlen (for four more).
Also, I could counter with Stanton instead of McCutcheon. I could have him for three more years after this season.
I'm seriously considering either Weaver or Bumgarner...probably Weaver. Thoughts?

What does the rest of your team look like. And are there any penalties for draft picks based on who you keep? And who won't you be keeping now, since its a 1 for 3 deal
Yeah I'd take 2 years of a stud OF over what you are being offered for sure. Stanton would make most sense though if you can get it I would jump on that.

No penalties. The rest of my team is:
1B Pujols 2B (gonna be Kinsler..I'm on the clock) 3B Longoria, Sandoval, Machado SS Tulowitzki OF Braun, Jennings, Ellsbury, Choo SP Bumgarner, GGonzalez, MMoore, Medlen RP Kimbrel
Bro if you can get McCutchen for Gio do it. That would leave you with Weaver for a few years (good ace) Mad Bum (emerging ace) etc and what not. DO IT NOW.
Gio probably is the riskiest of those for the next few years, even though some would say Weaver is that...still he's the best arm you have and I'd just keep him for as long as you have him. He'll be your anchor for several more years. Gio has PED issues surrounding him despite the recent subsiding. 2 years of a first round player for your 3rd or 4th best pitcher (that's essentially what you are trading). No brainer.
Also do take Kinsler with your pick and your team core. that's an illegal roster.
I don't have the love for McCutcheon that others do. I wouldn't give up any of thoise players for him. However, if Stanton was available, I'd move any of them, Weaver first, then Gio then Bumgarner.
I would push hard on Stanton. Otherwise, if you take the McCutchen deal you'll have your three best OFs gone at the end of the season (Braun, Ells). Unless you plan to repackage Cutch for another player with more years, I'd try everything to squeeze Stanton from him, even if means giving up a second player.
