Add Valdespin off waivers? whir

Postby KempCamp » Sat Mar 09, 2013 5:35 am

Im in a dynasty league and am looking for a lil talent, a lil outfield and hopeful mi eligibility with a Jordany Valdespin pick up. Does anyone see Valdespin lockin down a starting spot somewhere on the mets defense? And if not, does anyone think he gets enough abs to be a diamond in the rough for cheap production? Id most likely be dropping matt carpenter (who im also lookin for cheap upside at of and mi from), ryan ludwick, dee gordon or carlos marmol (only own motte, marmol) for valdespin. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Whir for sure.

Valdespin is a nice guy to have on a major league baseball team, but I don't think he's worth picking up for any of the guys you'd be dropping. Give Carpenter a chance as he showed a nice amount of production before he got injured last year. Valdespin will do a little bit of everything but on the Mets it probably isn't enough to justify dropping any of those guys for.
